Save The Date | Stylized Wedding Event | Canby, Oregon
I am SO EXCITED to announce that I am putting together a little stylized wedding event for photographers, videographers, and vendors at Oak + Hood wedding venue in Canby, Thursday, September 18th, 2025!
This has been something I have wanted to do for a long time and I am PUMPED that it is coming together!
PHOTOGRAPHERS + VIDEOGRAPHERS
We want you to come join us in this event, take all the photos and videos and share them! Build your portfolio, network with other vendors, and enter a photo contest to win some pretty neat prizes!
Here’s the important info:
4-5 Bride + Groom model sets - they are together in real life, so the chemistry is there!
4-6 photography stations with + without models - ceremony, food + drinks, cake, table set up, stage, fountain, hillside, etc.
2 hours of shooting time from 5-7pm, you are able to switch stations as you like.
1 hour of networking time 7-8pm - meet + chat with other photo/videographers, vendors, + eat some food!
Couples will rotate stations every 15 minutes, so they will all be able to be at each station at least once.
Photo Contest
You can take as many photos as you like during the event time, but we would love to have you enter up to 25 of your best, most favorite, photos you took and enter them into a photo contest for a chance to win some pretty cool prizes!
Here are the guidelines:
5 images of rings, cake, food, etc.
5 images of decor, flowers, bouquets, etc.
5 images of the venue spaces - this can be the whole venue, or certain areas that you loved.
10 images of the models - can be just one indivdual, one couple or multiple, in any area of the venue.
The judges will go through all of your submissions and pick their favorites and we will email the winners!
*Part of the contract for this event is you will give Oak + Hood and J + Six Creative permission to use your images that you submit into the photo contest. You will still own the rights! These images will be used for marketing of Oak + Hood and J + Six Creative event planning on websites, socials, and printed materials. You DO NOT have to participate in the photo contest, although we hope you do! We would love to see your best work!
