2025 has been a truly spectacular year, and as I look back, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. Every session, every story, every family I’ve met or reconnected with — each one has meant more to me than I can put into words. You’ve trusted me with your memories, with your milestones, with the fleeting little chapters of life that deserve to be preserved forever. That trust is something I never take lightly.
Kendal Senior | Salem, Oregon
Hey everyone, it’s Cheyenne! This was my first solo shoot, and I had such a fun time working with Kendal. She was amazing to photograph—so confident, natural, and open to trying new poses. I really enjoyed guiding her through different looks and capturing her personality on camera.
We got to shoot at two incredible locations: the soft, elegant gardens at Deepwood and the bold, urban streets of downtown Salem.
Beredu Maternity Session | Salem, Oregon
Pregnancy seriously looks amazing on her! Beredu was glowing from the moment she walked in, and having her sisters there brought so much fun and energy to the session. We laughed the whole time — the kind of laughter that makes your cheeks hurt in the best way. Sessions like this remind me why I love what I do!
I’m counting down the days until her sweet little one arrives in January!
10th Anniversary Hobbit Session | Salem, Oregon
What would you do - as a photographer - if someone asked you to take photos for their 10th anniversary, dressed as Hobbits at a Hobbit themed vacation rental? Obviously, you say YES!
As a lover of the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings I was so excited to do this session and the location is in Salem!

I have to tell you—Asher absolutely crushed his session. From the moment we started, he stepped in with this calm, confident energy that made my job so easy.
I’ve photographed a lot of kids and teens over the years, and it never stops amazing me when seniors show up ready to have fun, follow direction, and trust the process. Asher did all of that and more.

This Sprague senior reminded me so much so my own son it was uncanny! Also he has like this 80’s retro vibe going on and it makes my heart happy lol.
The whole session I knew he looked like someone and I couldn’t figure it out, but I finally did!

It was the perfect day at Proposal Rock for Lila’s senior session! She did amazing and just look at how gorgeous she is!
Seriously, pretty sure she could be a model. And we could'n’t have picked a better spot at the coast, the weather was perfect!
Whitney Maternity Session | West Salem, Oregon
When your backyard is a literal vineyard, there’s really only one thing to do—plan a photo session, of course! Rows of lush green vines with golden sunlight streaming through the leaves, tall, dry grass and flowers, and the big oak trees made the perfect backdrop.

Dani + Jeff Elopement | Ridgefield, Washington
Believe it or not, this was my first Washington wedding! I have been taking Dani and Jeff’s family photos for a few years now and I just love their little family! I mean, they were practically married already, they just wanted to make it official finally. In a very small elopement style, it was just the two of them, their kids, and Dani’s parents, perfectly intimate!
Indie Quinn Newborn | Salem, Oregon
Isn’t that name just the cutest?! I told Kelli she should go into business thinking of baby names for people, seriously she picks the best names for kids! Anyway - this newborn shoot was set for the studio and the park, and even though Indie did not want to sleep, we still got some good shots with the whole blended family. Btw, they are the sweetest!
Jenny + Peter Wedding | Dallas, Oregon
Every wedding is special, but I have a special place in my heart for these two. Jenny and Peter are the same age I was when my husband and I got married and my son is the same age as them. It’s almost surreal looking at how young they are and knowing my husband and I were in their shoes just 19 years ago! It was a wonderful day and I’m so glad we got to be there!
Alyse + Nathan Wedding | Salem, Oregon
A few posts back I was able to show off Alyse + Nathan’s rainy day engagement photos and now I’m here to show off their big day! Alyse had a First Look with her brother’s and dad, then had one with Nathan. I love watching it unfold as they see her in her wedding dress for the first time! She had an amazingly long, beautiful veil to go with it, she wore that thing so well!
Hayner Maternity Session | Corvallis, Oregon
I’m pretty sure this is one of my favorite places and this was one of my favorite sessions. I wish I looked as good as Chelsea when I was pregnant! Seriously, she’s gorgeous! And the view is gorgeous and their daughter, Frankie, is gorgeous, I just love it all!

They go super quick and we get enough images that you have options to choose from, but don’t get overwhelmed picking through dozens to figure out which to print, sound good? Book yours today!
What Should I Wear to my Photo Session?
If you want my advice on what to wear, I will gladly give it! If you cant decide between a couple outfits, send me photos and I’ll let you know what I think you should wear that will be good for the overall aesthetic. I tell everyone to wear something they are comfortable in!

I know I say this a lot, but I swear this kid could be a model. I’m so serious! I even asked him if he was modeling his shoes lol. Anywho, pretty sure he said he was going to OSU next year to get a degree in Civil Engineering, but maybe he could do some modeling on the side lol. That’s crazy, civil engineering, that’s a lot of math so more power to him!

These two are so sweet and just look at them, they could be models! I haven’t done a session at Deepwood in a long time, so I’m glad they picked it because it was perrfect! There was finally some sunny weather in between all the rain, plants are starting to bloom and look so good, and it wasn’t freezing lol!
